The last article I read on the subject indicated that the J728 would be the last HPC called Jornada but there's definately going to be an hPaq device sometime later. As it's some time away I suppose it's bound to be xscale.
I have saved up for an xscale device already but decided that I would hold off to get a xscale with the next version of CE rather than just a faster PocketPC 2002 machine. In the meantime I bought a new J710 cheap on Yahoo auctions.
Re: The Jornada 720 it's certainly very fast. My game runs faster than on the iPaq ecen with the same processor. The O/S is quite old fashioned with double taps needed & no skinning. Web browser is good however.
