Graphics don't work. Screen white. Please help.

Everytime I run Quake, I hear the sounds, but there is nothing but the controls on screen. The screen where the game is supposed to be is blank, white. What can I do?

what version did you download? Do you get a notice that this is a shareware version anywhere? If so, you downloaded the 720 version instead of the arm ppc version.

Sounds like GAPI isn't working.

I have the same problem. What do I need to do. Nobody posted the answer to the problem. I have a Compaq Ipaq 3870.

i had the same problem, but when i put the quake.exe file into the ..\quake\id1 directory and ran the program from there it worked OK. Mine is an ipaq 3850, word of advice; I was tempted to install a portrait programme and used jimmysoft potrait v2. Don't it screwed the machine up totally. Had to re-boot...
