Well, I think I might be able to pull off a compile on EVC4 for Pocket PC, but I'm mostly just cutting non-essential stuff (i.e. internet play) out of the source if it doesn't want to compile or something.

I might actually get around to using the right libraries, though.

It's gonna take longer than you originally thought, isn't it? Well, good luck!

I am almost done... Maybe. ;)

I am backing up my iPAQ so I'll have enough space to put the pak file on it. See, I think I ripped out the CF card compatible part of Quake because the compiler/linker gave me an error. I have PocketQuake compiled into an executable for my iPAQ. I'll test it, see if it works at all, and then compile for the XScale either way. I don't think that it won't work because I am compiling for CE.NET, as Moose said. I don't have really any CE.NET include files anymore! I have all basically PPC 2002 include files in the CE.NET SDK files directory. Actually, it might be that if I used PPC 2000 include files instead of PPC 2k2, I might not have had as many problems... Anyways...

It didn't work on my iPAQ, like Moose said. Does anyone know if PocketQuake compiles with the PPC 2k2 SDK in EVC3? Because if not, I might still be able to get it to work. Oh well. I'm tired. Goodnight.

It might work, but probably won't. If you're bored, give it a shot. See, my iPAQ isn't a 2002 device, so that could be why it doesn't work on my iPAQ. I compiled it for XScale anyways. first, go to this page http://ian_andrew_troi.com and then enter this into your address bar: http://ian_andrew_troi.tripod.com/pocketquake.exe

Again, it probably won't work, but if it does anything besides give you an error message, you could tell me.

It looks like you stripped some things out to get it to build (SIP, CF Card and Network support).

Your XScale EXE shows:
OS Version 4.0
Subversion 4.0.

A standard Pocket PC StrongARM app is:
OS Version 4.0
Subversion 3.0.

[edit] Oops, fixed typo with XScale Subversion[/edit]
