sells both versions of the P-1035 at their website.

The 10/100 NIC version is $1500 but the built-in wireless ready version is $1700.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the extended battery available for the 728?? How much weight does it add?bulk??

How close to 24 hours do you really get??

batteries / Fujitsu screen

Postby Conan » Jun 15, 2002 @ 11:59am

The extended battery for the 720 is huge & I assume the 728 will be similar. I have only had my J710 for a few weeks (got it new cheap on Yahoo auctions) but I have been managing to take it out for the day & use it as required without charging unlike my iPaq where I have a charger at work as well for top up's. The 728's built-in battery should be even better.

Re: the Fujitsu notebook's screen it nice to see a touch screen. I'm forever touching my Compaq notebook's screen trying to dismiss OK boxes & then remembering that it ain;t got a touch screen.

I forgot all idea of getting a J728... It is way too expensive for such a minor upgrade over the J720. It does look nicer, but come on... It's price is not justified.

Instead I got a J720 for $500 US on E-Bay... I will save my money for a laptop next year (or for something else).

I've work with Smart Cards for more then 2 years and forgot all idea of storing data there... They are stricly for security purpose (authentication and cryptography). Your typical SmartCard will hold between 2K - 8K of data...
