Just strolling through the woods from pocketpcpassion..

Keep in mind that the ROM that stores the OS and the ROM this is used for safestore are one and the same. If memory serves one of the ROM updates that was released by HP actually ate a small portion of the HP Safestore area. So this area is manipulatable. And could eat a LARGE chunk of that 20MB if necessary.

Also keep in mind that there has not been a single OS, to date, released by Microsoft that hasn't increased in size from its predecessor. MS loves its middleware. You can bet cash that it’s going to continue that trend.

you knwo, ive still have yet to see anyone list what makes NET so special. everyones talked about upgradeing to it, but not why we should upgrade to it. I heard NET will have a Windows2k server flavor of XP but thats it, and server apps are not what PPC is all about in the slightest.

I doubt it, Matt :/

.NET is just a step to integrate your computer into the internet. So I don't think it will help PPC users out much, unless you're one of those 300 people that live in a wirelessly accessible area of the world.
