Moose that [capitalizing He as in minister] was a small phrase at the end of a post. That wasn't the subject of my many posts about this issue. I am nitpicking nothing, this is a huge issue in religions: heaven and hell.

You took more than a few posts to answer what I was saying: that we are part of God therefore we deserve a spot next to him.

I don't see how I am nitpicking anything, I am Christian too, you don't need to explain "your" religion to me. I am very clear on my religion, and that is where my problems arise. I know the basic principles, and I agree with them. But then you get things like "you must praise Jesus to have a good chance at hell" and "homosexuality is a sin". Those aren't God's words, but they are part of YOUR religion, if you interpret the Bible literally. And I was never calling you condescending, ever. I did, however, call you arrogant, because your arguement was that you MUST worship Jesus in order to have a good chance at heaven. Therefore you are calling all other religions inferior, with an inferior chance at heaven. So yes, you were being arrogant and exclusive.

Edit: to clarify, I'm not saying that you are an arrogant person. I'm saying you are arrogant in your view of the admission to heaven.

Also, I never said you should just glide through life. Never once did I say you don't need to be good to get into heaven, in fact, my arguement is be good, but you don't need a passcard signed by Jesus to get in. The point is I believe God evaluates character, not religion.

"it takes a long time, but God dies too, but not before he sticks it to you" - Modest Mouse

I'd just like to share with you my vision of God and Jesus:

First of all, Jesus is a black man, goatee and dreads (Dogma, the movie, stole my idea). God is you, but the you that you always wished you could have been. For a while I invisioned him as a goat, and I still do when I picture him. But it makes sense, think about it: goats give and give. They give milk, they give wool, they are always there to nudge your shoulder when you're sad (well in the movies at least)

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."
