I like that phrase...
LET'S BAN HIM!

Paul,

Spiderman - have you SEEN Toby in that outfit? Fucking amazing! Dunst as a redhead? Major woody.

As far as every other superhero project in the pipe, I think they are waiting on Spiderman before major green-lights are issued. Once Spiderman cleans house, you'll see Ghost Rider, Hulk, the FF and others.

If you don't have Origin (Marvel's Wolverine mini) you will be SOL. Let me know and I'll ship one to you.

James

I'm not a major Wolvie fan, so I'll wait out for the trade paperback that'll come out next year. But for the hardcore fans, it's a must to have.

I just saw K-PAX on Saturday, and it was pretty good, a bit weird though.

I was going to say something about K-PAX but you beat me to it. I like Kevn Spacey, but he can really only act two ways. Seriously cynical with a dry funny side or classical theatre (the last one was a guess, I've never seen him in theatre mode) But I'm wanting to watch it (K-PAX)

Did anybody ever see those "CrAzY" movies Gummo and Julien Donkey Boy ? They were both kind of disturbing, but treats for the cinema addict. I just like colors and motion I guess. Supposedly JDB was made adhering to Dogma 95, but I think he did some post production which is against the rules.

IGN Filmforce says that Penelope Cruz ("Vanilla Sky") has met with director Mark Steven Johnson about the role of Daredevil's love interest, Elektra, in the big screen Marvel Comics adaptation. She apparently "expressed strong interest" in the role opposite most likely Ben Affleck in the lead. Among the other actresses expressing interest in the role are Lucy Liu ("Charlie's Angels"), Angie Harmon (formerly of TV's "Law & Order"), Jessica Alba ("Dark Angel"), Natalie Portman ("Star Wars"), Claire Forlani ("Meet Joe Black"), and Bridget Moynahan ("Serendipity").

The site has also learned that Robbie Coltrane ("From Hell," "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone") has been thought of for the role of hefty-sized crime boss Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. The Kingpin. He has not yet been approached, however.

Reports also indicate that "Daredevil" will begin filming March 20, in Los Angeles, and that the casting breakdowns posted earlier were indeed accurate.
