PocketScumm for HPCs - warning, alpha material -

The first in a probably long series of crashing alphas is a version which could display something (if lucky) on Jornadas 710/720

give it a try if you feel adventurous (be sure to backup everything before just to be safe), and post your results here ! it's 100% untested :wink:

yes, it worked OK ! but I'm a bit surprised, isn't the Jornada screen supposed to be 640 x 480

let's see how I can fix this ...

mmh OK just checked a review, it's 640x240 in fact :roll:

guess I'll have to change the startup screen size, but the gfx code looks correct otherwise :wink:

still not centered and no real keyboard support but I hope you can run a game with this one :wink:

Good job!
The menu works great - thanks for the esc.
The demo I downloaded loads too! Music and speech all work and it seems to be playing at full speed.
It gets to a point in the demo where it stops and I'm unsure what to do after that but I am guessing that you just haven't implimented keyboard support. Also, if you are able, it would be nice for the game be switchable between 640x240 streched and whatever it is now...

great news ! I'll see what I can do to make it look better on the 720 ... and run it on other PPCs/older WinCE devices if possible ... stay tuned :wink:
