Jordy 720's friendly disassembly, and reassembly

Postby Courtney White » Aug 29, 2002 @ 5:42am

I just got done taking apart my 720 because my IR is broken... its not that hard and i think some parts may even be upgradable... if i wanted to, i could replace the modem with a lan maybe, add some memory, drop in an x-scale...

i'll post photos later, leave me comment/questions about it.

Crosswind technique: "Using your peripheral vision, react to body movements, gasps, groans, and shouts from the other side of the cockpit, and always remember that it's better to be lucky than good."

this is my jornada 720 in pieces, which was actually easy to get into and easy to put back.... gave me a chance to double check connections and tighten screws.

not dead now
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

There should be a macro feature on your digital camera. If so, you should use it for close-up shots like that (sad that the only close-up shots I ever do are of curcuit-boards :( ).

Cheers,

Actually my digital cam is from 5-6 years ago, holds only 8 pictures, no removable storage, and is like .75 megapixel..... a $60 webcam would prob do a better job.
