
But I do have a hunch, a big one. I don't know the details, but if the memory frequency is lowered then you probably won't get any more performance. If it's higher, as Mali said, then you will see a performance increase. It's like a graphics card, if you overclock the core GPU you might get a few more FPS, but if you overclock the memory than you'll get an even bigger increase, that's because the graphics card is bus limited, just like I believe the XScale is.
