Everything OZ-based would be cool. If you tell me how many levels you want, I'll do a storyline for you. If you don't (talk to the others), just make a single OZ-level. And then you would build it in just like I've said before. But you know, OZ is big, and you cant put everything in a single level, so...

I personly would prefer both.  Seriously.  You could have a mixture of single player and swat missions.  Like alternate or something.  The single player could be run like a James Bond type thing (but still in oz), where you have to sneak in by yourself (or run around outside whatever), and complete certain objectives, like as the first couple, where you have to rescue each of your team members, and then once you have so many rescued (you get to choose which missions to go on to rescue certain swat team mates), you can start to play the swat part of the game, where the heavy action comes in.  the game can then sitch back and forth between signle and swat (but mainly just swat after that), and also, there should be a swat training area (to learn everything about it), but only after you have assemble your team.  That way you can learn how to take advantage of your teammates different skills. ex. The Scare Crow could be good with explosives and weapons that deal with fire like a flame thrower (next time the Witch says "how about a little fire Scare Crowm," he can answer back with a flame thrower).  There should also be hidden characters that you get for completing the game on different diff. (or at least the option of rescueing them in the beginning).  Also, you should only be able to fully beat the game on the hardest diff.  So the easy one will have the least amount of levels and have an easy witch to beat in the last level (asuming the final boss is a witch), ansd for each additional difficulty the final level changes and anther few levels are added on.  Man, if you take this idea, this will be the coolest game ever for the HPC2000 (and that stupid ppc also (just kidding ;))(not that PQ isn't already the coolest game).

Wow rob that would be a real pain in the ass, im not sure if all of that stuff is possible just with QC coding i think having Computer team mates might fall into the catagory of having to edit the engine(the exe file) it's self. I mean this sounds cool and this is worth a try and will be kept in mind. Does anyone else have suggestions not involving cs type sp or oz though. Also i have been thinking can you be sued for making a mod based on oz like those guys and the southpark q2 mod?

Squadmates are entirely possible with QuakeC. Reapers work with on your team for coop or team-deathmatch, and there was a bot (Zeus, I think, or maybe the Enforcer) that specialized in Team Mode. Then there was the dog that you could have be your pet in one mod, he ate the corpses of the dead to regain his health. Very cool stuff, and not necessarily very hard. Like Dan said, you could borrow some GPL'd code from a bot for use as your AI on both sides. <br><br>I personally would love to see a "Dark Oz" type deal. The side of Oz we never saw in the material. For example: we know that the Emerald City was a lovely place, but what if unbeknownst to our main characters it was that way due to a police-state system? Or what if the North, South, East, and West sections of Oz seemed cheery but constantly sent small sabotage teams into the other territories? <br><br>And you could have some seriously cool squadmates. The tiger with a conscience, the cowardly lion whipped into a frenzy, the Tin Man with his axe, Tik-Tok and all sorts of steampunk weaponry. Very cool stuff.
