I've got a couple old Compaqs, 200 mHz, 450 mHz.

Compaqs technical support sucks. They don't provide drivers for Windows 2000, which is inexcusable since one of them was bought about 1 month before Win2000 release. They've patched the same battery problem about 10 times now and still don't have it right (the computer displays 0% battery life when it is FULLY CHARGED). Can't say I would recommend them.

They run okay though, especially the 450 mHz- it hasn't had a problem since we bought it two years ago. Just don't expect any kind of support.

Yeah, it can't VIS because there is a hole.

Fix the hole, recompile. If it comes up with another error, fix the hole and recompile. repeat as necessary.

Once you get the holes fixed, you shouldn't come across any more for the rest of the project. My experience is that they happen early in the project, or just after a major change in the map- like moving an entire room.

Are those columns using wall_drywall_03? It sure looks like it. If the map is fullbright, that texture (and wall_drywall_01) are VERY bright.

They should return to normal with normal lighting (those textures are meant for darker areas- I used it in the duct/maintenance areas of my map)

I just recompiled a map using all the concrete textures and can't find anything wrong.

Try to fix the holes first. It will only get worse (slower) until you fix those.

So, from what i understand, I need to make a solid "box" with no holes in the sky, in the floor or anywhere. Is this right?
