Palms do not have equivalent expansion capabilites. Only the latest palms (m500 & 505) have SD slots, previously it was impossible to add more mem. Several PPC2K devices have both CF & SD slots, while older devices still generally have one. Although the first Ipaq had none, it could accept sleeves for CF, PCMCIA, Bluetooth, TV cards, etc, so you cannot say they have equivalent expansion.
The GUI of PPC is not complicated, it is pretty user-friendly. It is the inner workings of the OS that is complex.
As i said at the beginning of thread, the two devices cannot be compared as they serve completely different purposes. A Palm is a cheap, very pocketable device useful for syncing addresses, contacts, email and using simple apps & games. Their size, price and long battery life make them perfectly suited. However, if you want full multimedia capabilities including games, music, true internet access, etc but are willing to sacrifice size and battery life, get a PPC. Simple. Not even the latest Palm can be used as an MP3 player as-is, only the Clie!
Hmm..just had a thought...Sony have started to make Palm-based PDA's, and look how they've turned out.. Imagine if they were convinced to make PPCs...
