Allright Winter vacation and I have nothing to do:
Snails: Expansalt Set
The Golden Shell
Legend has it that the keepers of the golden shell project forth an aura of cataclysmic destruction that promises to raze all beings in its path. He who finds the golden shell is assured of world conquest.
New Features:
-New race of blue/gray "ghost" snails, the Phlaglums
-New Phlaglum mission set
-One new 4 level mission for each of the exisitng snail races (quest to find golden shell, of course)
New Weapons
-Sniper Cannon: reltaively weak weapon, but instantly kills any snail that it hits directly in the head. In addition, it goes through snails and terrain, potentially allowing for multiple kills.
-Psychic Beam: switches owner of snail. For example, snail A would beam snail B; next turn, the owner of snail B now control snail A, while the owner of snail A now controls B.
-Root Beer Bomb [RB^2] Causes an explosion under your snail, propelling them upwards veritcally and allowing them to drift downwards in a root beer incurred bubble, with player controlling decent. Replacement for the ninja rope; the explosion itslef causes minimal damage and player cna mvoe afterwards.
-Scrap Iron: random clump of metal placed wherver the player indicates i.e. girders in W*rms. To simplify, it can be a wider, horizontal bar that cannot be rotated. Security from air strikes and wayward napalm
-Antifreeze Spitbomb: Freezes target snail, causing them to move at 1/3 speed and jump at 1/3 height in its next turn.
- PDA Condor: remote controlled (by iPaq, of course) flying condor machine that is launched veritcally above the snail and flied in four directions; blows up after hitting anything, or after 20 seconds.
- Shell (skip turn): snail enters shell, recieving minimal damage until next move.
-Shelltank: allows snail to burry through ground in any direction expecept vertically up for five seconds
New Maps:
-Graveyard, home of the Plaglums
-Chemistry lab - destroying beakers results in napalm
-Puerto Snalarto - Carribean island, premier snail vacation destination
-Apocalypse - post-nuclear war world, with blown out cars, chattered buildings in background, and lots of dust
-Chessset - play over all your favorite chess pieces!
Changes:
-Machinegun now fires in "general direction", emitting a spray of bullets rather than direct fire. Allows for multiple victims!
-Staplegun fires one shot, dealign approx. 25% damage, but has 50% chance to staple snail to ground, prevneitng their mvoememnt follwoing turn
-Napalm Gel: damage caused by initial explosion reduced significantly
-Teargas now more responsive to gravity
-Flamestrike dispenses 50% more flame
-Biostrike leaves behind salt, incurring damage to any snails that tread over it
-Optional expert mode: stylus only directs wepaon every 5 pixels; to direct between those pixels, one must use the cursor pad. Makes it harder to use stylus to fire at faraway targets with 100% accuracy
-Snails icon no longer has white background
