I don't REALLY care how fast my car goes. It's VERY quick as is. Acceleration is top notch and the suspension is so tight right now I can take any butterfly off ramp at 70 and not even feel it. RSXs are so stable you won't believe it until you drive one. And the manual really makes it fun and adds to it's stability, cornering power, enjoyment, everything.
I'm more interested in technology for my car, seamless enhancements. I would kill myself before I bought a spoiler for my car. Why do you think they call them spoilers anyway? But I might check out a nice sound system for my car. Not so I can thump down the road, just quality wise, not competition subs or anything like that.
I want my GPS Nav, though. It's not just a "cool factor" for me. I'm going to be driving the interstate every weekend next year to a city I don't know. I could use it right now to find places, too. And of course it is cool

My brother has this totally decked out Acura 3.2TL, 2000, Black with black leather interior. Limo tinting, phat ass chrome wheels (I forget the measurement), Z rated tires, two subs in bass boxes, xenon headlights. He even changed the lights inside his car to blue. Nothing on it is stock anymore. And do you know what he told me when he saw my car? "Before you mod your car, change the wheels, anything, ask me. I'll let you drive my car so you can see how bad it is and what a waste of money that junk is." I don't want mods like that for my car. I want the cool GPS units, seamless radar detection, laser cruise-control, night vision in the window, stuff like that. My car is going to stay classy, not pimpy.
Oh, and silver wheels look so much nicer than those shiny chrome wheels. I don't know why anyone buys chrome anymore.
I saw this lamer in an '87 toyota sedan, no paint, it was down to the metal. He had this bright white ground effects kit installed on both the front and rear bumper. It was so hilarious. Why would he even bother. now THAT was a clown car!
My dream performance car (besides a Buggati Veyron 16/4, of course) is the '93 Lister Storm. Those things look so sweet and are so powerful. The body is made of kevlar, too! Damn that car is nice.
Here's the list of cars I'm going to buy in order:
1. Acura RSX (current)
2. Mercedes SLK 32 AMG
3. BMW M3
4. Ferrari 550 Maranello
5. Aston Martin Vanquish
Each of those is about 7-10 years apart. That estimate is based on me becoming a doctor. Hopefully this list is as realistic as I think it is. I don't see any problem with the SLK, I can get one really cheap used. The BMW M3 I won't get anything but new so that might take some extra time, but it's my "family man" car. You know, with the four seats. The Ferrari 550 is my mid-life crisis car, and the Vanquish is my "I'm an old man and I'll buy what I want before this life leaves me," sort of thing.
