Evolution is present in every day of our lives. We change constantly. Of course evolution is a proven fact.
Christianity is about 33% of the world religion, but the next closest is like 15 or 8 or something. It's the largest and most organized religion.
Every tried and true religion (not counting religions like the one Homer Simpson created) believes in some guy that built a boat before a great flood.
The whole world revolves around money. How can anything last long if they don't have money. It's not like it's a bad thing, although some places don't use a lot of tact when they go about collecting it.
And it is true that people are raised in a certain religion. Christian babys are baptized and born Christians. And as soon as someone turns 15 they're Confirmed in the Christian religion, that's the point that they make their own decision to be a Christian. They don't have to be, at that point it's the choice. I, to this day, choose to be Christian. And God has given me the choice to be Budhist or Atheist or anything I want to be. God doesn't want us to be forced in Christianity, He wants it to be our choice to be with Him, our choice to love Him.
The point is that you can, at a point in your life, choose your own religion.
How can you be so self righteous to say there's a problem with a religion?
And in Christianity you're not just forgiven whenever you feel like it. You can't just keep doing the same thing over and over again. The point is, that if you learn from your mistakes and are truely sorry and feel bad about it, then you'll be forgiven and given another chance. You have to repent of your sins, which means being truly sorry for them, acknowledge them, and bring them in front of God. It's not like "God, I want a clean slate." "Okay Timmy, and when you go break my law again I'll be waiting right here to forgive you again."
You just don't understand the religion when you're attacking it. That's what I don't like the most about religious discussions, people don't even look into stuff before they spout why other's religions are "wrong." I mean, it's fine to BS about stuff in regular life, but religion is something bigger and better.
I don't see a real problem with cloning. That's God's area to judge. If He wants to protect what we've created then fine, if not then that's His call. If He feels that we did it under His name then he'll give life to it and a soul. If He didn't like it then cloning just wouldn't work out. Stem cell research, I'm all for it. And if you want an endless life on this Hell of a life with pain, discomfort, and all that then be my guest.
Everything is a choice, a choice that any person can make for themselves.
There are just too many miraculous phenomena to me to ignore. Like Betania () has become a religious theme park. Tens of people are healed there every day, real people that go there to be healed from all over the world. Apparitions of the Virgin Mary also appear there regularly. And if you've ever been there you'll know that there's just a feeling around the entire place. The hymn "Surely the presence of the Lord is in the place" comes to mind. It's believed to be, scientifically, the origin of life on Earth, and religiously, the literal Garden of Eden.
I've felt God work in my life plenty of times. I've been through plenty rough times. If I pray and talk to God He'll help me out, although not always how I'd prefer it
