agreed -- it's also a matter of preference. I love Win2K because it is a tremendous business platform. Unprecedented. And XP isn't going to be able to walk in off the shelves into that. You're right, it's like NT5.1, not 6.0. It's got some nice features, and home users will love it. Definitely the way to go at home if you're dedicated to MS windows on your box, have lots of cash, time to spend in matainence and support at home (or re-install... is there a difference?) and you want all the good stuff of Win2K reliability (vis a vis 98SE)<br><br>All I know is I walked into Future Shop last week, and caked their P4 1.6 GHz Windows XP machine in 35 seconds flat. Of course, it had to reboot to do it. ;)
